Ava Dunn took over pinch running responsibilities for Nillen and showed her base running abilities early, stealing second to put herself in scoring position. Gracie King drew another walk for the Muleriders before advancing to second on a fielding error by the second baseman that allowed Kamryn Moctezuma to reach base safely and score SAU's fifth run of the contest.
