MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas Men's & Women's Basketball prepares for a four-game home swing as the regular season nears an end and Mulerider Athletics has announced that its Ninth Annual Community Night is set for Thursday, February 16 as both programs are set to host Southern Nazarene in what will be two very pivotal contests that will have Great American Conference tournament seeding implications. Admission is FREE to the general public.
Fans will be treated to free hots dogs (while supplies last) and members of the community will have several opportunities to win prizes throughout the night with special giveaways planned.
"Community Night is a special event that we enjoy offering each basketball season," remarked SAU Director of Athletics Steve Browning. "We have some of the most loyal supporters in the country and their love of Mulerider Basketball is tremendous. The W.T. Watson Center is a great place to watch college basketball and that is in large part to the atmosphere created by the community and that atmosphere finds a new level every year. We look forward to a great turnout!"
