OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Southern Arkansas University Men's golf team shot a 324 on the first day of the Broncho Invitational, hosted by Central Oklahoma. They end the first round in 12
th place out of 14 teams. The Muleriders were scheduled to play two rounds today (36 holes), but were only able to play 18 due to a delayed start in the tournament due to freezing temperatures this morning.

Roman Timmerman leads the Muleriders after round one as he is tied for 17
th place after firing a 76. Sophomore
Caleb Miller finished two strokes behind Timmerman with a 78 in round one as he finished the day tied for 27
th place.

Freshman
Tyler Garrett fired an 84 in round one finishing the day tied for 62
nd place while
Logan McDonald and
Connor Harrington finished two strokes behind Garrett with an 86 in round one, finishing the day tied for 68
th.

Timmerman finished the day with a +1 on all par three scoring opportunities and +2 on all par four scoring opportunities. Miller finished the day with a +1 one all par three scoring opportunities and +2 on all par four scoring opportunities. McDonald finished even on all par five scoring opportunities. All of these individual statistics are within the top half of the leader board.
