MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Playing in their second home match of the season, the Southern Arkansas University Volleyball team was unable to scrape past the Golden Suns of Arkansas Tech University on Thursday evening. SAU fell in three sets (19-25, 19-25, 15-25). Despite the loss, the Muleriders held a lead in each of the three sets.
Victoria White led the Muleriders with 11 kills and 10 digs, followed by
Landry Rogers who collected seven kills. Samantha still collected nine digs in the contest.
Morgan Schuster finished with a game high 25 assist.
Abby Bermudez and
Isla Olivas both finished with a .333 attacking percentage, while White hit .261 in the match.
The Muleriders will return to the court next Tuesday, as they are set to travel to Arkadelphia, Arkansas to take on Henderson State University. The first-serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
