Arkadelphia, Ark. – The SAU Volleyball team closed their road schedule on Thursday night as they took on Henderson State. A second set that saw the Muleriders hit -.138 was sandwiched between two sets that saw the visitors push the hosts, ultimately coming up short on the night.
Lauren Smith led the attacking efforts for the Muleriders, burying seven kills on 13 attempts for a .538 attacking percentage. The junior, along with
Seven Powers' seven kills, led the team as seven Muleriders recorded kills on the night.
Abby Bermudez, who blocked three attacks, converted six attacks for a .267 attack percentage.

Alana Perez recorded a game-high 15 digs, and
Morgan Schuster assisted a game-high 25 times on the night.
The Muleriders close out their season next week with a pair of home matches, hosting Ouachita Baptist on Tuesday and Arkansas Tech on Thursday.
