Magnolia – The SAU Volleyball team gave Ouachita Baptist all they could handle tonight inside the W. T. Watson Center, pushing the Tigers to five sets before falling 15-13 in the fifth set, the second time this season the Muleriders played all five sets.
The Muleriders outhit the Tigers on the night and tallied more points, kills, assists and digs than the visitors.
Seven Powers and
Morgan Schuster both recorded double-doubles on the night; Powers buried a career-high 20 kills and ten digs, while Schuster assisted a career-high 56 times to go along 13 digs.

Alana Perez tied a career-high in digs with 24, previously hitting that mark against Henderson State earlier in the season.
Senior
Kayley Davis was the other Mulerider, digging 13 times.
Sophomore Ciara Tolley, along with Powers, tallied a career-high in kills with 15.
Morgan Gross and
Abby Bermudez joined Powers and Tolley in double-digits with 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
The Muleriders close their season out on Thursday when they host Arkansas Tech; they will honor their three seniors before first serve, scheduled for 6 p.m.
