Magnolia – The SAU Volleyball team dropped their Homecoming morning match against Southern Nazarene, pushing the visitors to a 24-24 score in set one, ultimately losing said set 26-24.

The Muleriders went down as much as 14-8 in set two before fighting back to tie it at 21; however, the visitors scored the last four points to take the set.

Seven Powers was the lone Mulerider to record double-digit kills with 10. The senior from Little Rock hit .241 on the day, the fourth best she's hit in a match this season.

Lauren Smith and Morgan Gross both recorded four blocks and four kills, while Abby Bermudez recorded three kills, three blocks and two service aces.

Kayley Davis led the team in digs with 10, her second consecutive game in double digits, and Morgan Schuster posted 27 assists.

The Muleriders are on the road next weekend in Oklahoma where they will take on Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.
