SEARCY, Ark. – The Mulerider Volleyball team dropped a three-set match (17-25, 19-25, 14-25) to Harding in Great American Conference play on Thursday night in Searcy. Five players recorded five or more kills as freshman Rylea Brimhall led Southern Arkansas in the category for the second time in the last three games as she delivered nine kills.
 
OF NOTE

• Harding hammered team attack percentages of .462 and .400 in the first and third sets, respectively. The Lady Bisons finished with 49 kills.
• The Muleriders' highest attack clip came in the opening set as the team hit .222 (13-5-36).
• Freshman Lexi Kruse accounted for 27 of SAU's 29 kills.
• Southern Arkansas out blocked Harding 7-6 behind 10 block assists and two block solos. Sophomore Bailey Cagle delivered three block assists, while sophomore Lauren Smith, junior Seven Powers and Brimhall each followed with a pair.
• It was the seventh match this season for Southern Arkansas in which the club recorded 7.0 or more total blocks.
• Freshman Camryn Bihary led with a dozen digs and added one of SAU's three service aces.
• Sophomore Alana Perez added nine digs and a service ace.
• Brimhall became the third Mulerider this season to register at least nine kills in a three-set match, while her 30 total attempts were the second-most in three sets for SAU this season.
