Magnolia, Ark. – The SAU Women's Basketball team lose their final matchup of the 2018 GAC/MIAA Crossover, dropping their matchup to Lindenwood University by a score of 61-40.
The Muleriders could not contain Lindenwood forward Kallie Bildner, who scored 23 points and added 16 rebounds on the glass in 30 minutes of action.
Freshman guard
Ariana Guinn led the scoring for the Muleriders, scoring eight points on 2-11 shooting from the field as well as making all four of her free throw attempts. The Hot Springs native also added in three rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes.
Freshman forward
Jerica Bell grabbed six rebounds to go along with four points in 18 minutes, and junior
Erin Brinkley scored four points and contributed five rebounds in 28 minutes.
Sophomore
Maggie Evans and freshman
Camryn Fennell both had two steals, with Evans and Fennell both scoring all their points from the free throw line (three and two points, respectively).
The Muleriders had nine of 10 players score on the night; however, none scored more than eight points.
The Muleriders return to action on Tuesday at the W. T. Watson Center as they host Southeastern Baptist College as a part of a men's and women's doubleheader, with the women playing at 5:30 p.m. and the men playing at 7:30 p.m.
