HOW IT HAPPENED-GAME 1

- SAU's offense blew up in the top of the sixth inning after scoring five runs on four hits. A single from Tyler Casada set the tone at the start of the inning before she was later plated on a single from Yulissa Hinojosa. Goad knocked in a pair of runs on a single to right centerfield that extended the SAU lead to 5-0. A pair of walks to Dow and Roye loaded the bases for Megan Godoyo who subsequently belted a 2-RBI single to close out the frame.
