  Leading Off

The Southern Arkansas baseball team hosts their final conference home series of the regular season as they prepare for a 3-game matchup with Arkansas-Monticello this weekend. The series features two of the top-3 teams in the GAC as SAU leads the league standings while UAM comes in at third.

Statistically, the Muleriders enter play hitting .308 as a team and have a 3.87 team ERA. Through 45 games, the Muleriders have scored 325 runs offensively while the pitching staff lays claim to five shutouts.

Individually, the Muleriders have five players hitting over .300 with three of those over .354. Trevor Rucker leads the club at .401 followed by Jacob Richardson at .366.
