The Southern Arkansas baseball team hits the road this weekend for a three-game series against Southern Nazarene. Heading into the series, the Muleriders have won four in a row and six of their last seven games. That recent hot streak has earned the Muleriders their first national ranking of the year, checking in at No. 25 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.

Dalton Algiene (4-1) leads the team in wins with four while also sporting the lowest ERA among starters at 1.20. Additionally, Algiene has contributed to both of SAU's shutouts while also leading the team in strikeouts with 38.
For Southern Nazarene, the Crimson Storm are hitting .229 as a team with 23 doubles, two triples, nine homeruns, and 52 runs scored. On the mound, the Crimson Storm havea 9.60 team ERA and have struck out 91 opposing batters while issuing 78 bases on balls.
The leading hitter is Mike Descisciolo at .357. He is also the top run producer with 15 RBIs. David Gustafson has the lowest ERA among starters at 7.20 and his 26 strikeouts lead the team as well.
