BETHANY, Okla. – On the road for their final weekend of the season, the Southern Arkansas Lady Mulerider Basketball team was unable to break into their first quarter deficit on Thursday night in Bethany, Oklahoma, as Southern Nazarene claimed an 87-69 victory in a Great American Conference affair inside the Sawyer Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Muleriders trailed by just six after the opening ten minutes of action and the deficit would remain six through the first four minutes of the second quarter as Southern Nazarene led 29-23.
- A 9-0 Crimson Storm run ensued and stretched three minutes and 43 seconds as SNU built a 38-23 lead that would eventually get to 17 points before taking a 44-31 lead into the half.
- Southern Arkansas would twice cut the deficit to ten points in the third quarter, but would only manage to get as close as 16 in the final quarter of play.

- Callee Mason went for 31 of the Crimson Storm's 38 points off of the bench that included 7-of-16 from the floor with five trifectas and a 12-of-13 effort from the free throw line in 24 minutes of action. Mason added seven rebounds and two steals.
- Adrienne Berry followed with 16 points and Rachel Doerneman added a double-double with 15 points and game-high ten rebounds.
- Abby Boyd produced a game-high 11 assists and added three steals, two blocks and a pair of rebounds.
OF NOTE
- Southern Nazarene shot 41.4% (29-of-70) from the floor, while SAU shot 38.7% (24-of-62) from the field.
- The Crimson Storm outscored Southern Arkansas in points off of turnovers as SNU turned 21 Lady Mulerider turnovers into 20 points. SAU scored a dozen points off of 20 SNU turnovers.
- Both teams scored 38 points in the paint, while Southern Nazarene outrebounded SAU 46-32 with 21 rebounds coming off of the offensive glass.
- The Lady Muleriders scored 11 second chance points to SNU's 17.
- The game featured just three lead changes and two tied scores, while SNU's largest lead of the evening was 21 points with 00:57 left in the third quarter.
