#5 Southern Arkansas will hit the road for the first time in 2017 as they travel to Grand Prairie, Texas, for a four-game slate at the North Texas Bash hosted by Lubbock Christian University at the Jennifer McFalls Softball Complex.

The Lady Muleriders (4-0) are coming off a successful season-opening weekend at home in which the offense banged out 37 runs including a pair of run-rule wins and a 15-14 marathon win in the finale of the SAU Softball Invitational, while the staff saw freshman newcomer Victoria Taylor claim three wins in her first weekend of collegiate action in the circle.

Friday and Saturday will present several early season tests for the nation's fifth-ranked team as the Lady Muleriders open play in North Texas against Texas Woman's (4-2) at 11:00 a.m., before playing host Lubbock Christian (6-0) at 1:30 p.m. Southern Arkansas concludes play on Sunday with an early first-pitch of 10 a.m. against Texas-Permian Basin (0-6), before closing tournament play against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 12:30 p.m.
