ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – After dropping a pair of five-set matches on Friday at the Bettye Wallace Invitational, Southern Arkansas Volleyball rebounded with a straight-sets victory over Missouri Southern State in an early morning affair in Arkadelphia on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Missouri Southern's best attack set came in the opener as they posted a swing clip of .188, while Southern Arkansas hit .268 or better in all three sets.
- The Lady Muleriders held MSSU to just seven kills in both the second and third sets as the Lions attacked at an average of just .084 in those sets.
- Senior outside hitter Serena LeDuff posted a career-high in attack percentage as she swung at a clip of .500, while registering 15 kills for her fourth 10-plus kill performance of the season. She committed just one error in 28 total attempts.
- Freshman setter Katy Cooper continues to command the offense as she logged her fourth-straight match with 40 or more assists and fifth match this season with at least 20 kills.
- Senior libero Paige Mays paced SAU in digs (14) and aces (3).
- Cooper and LeDuff each came two digs shy of a double-double as the duo logged eight digs apiece.
FOR THE OPPOSITION
- MSSU was led in kills by Christina Perlinger who produced seven.
- Bradyn Wall led the Lions with 20 assists, while Whitney Harrison produced 12 digs.
