ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Lady Mulerider Volleyball team fell in straight sets to the NSIC's Northern State on Saturday afternoon in Arkadelphia to conclude their four-game stint at the Bettye Wallace Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 

• SAU managed to hit at a clip of just .028, while Northern State attacked at .230.
• Neither team produced a run larger than four points, but NSU produced three four-point runs in the third set to take the match.
• Southern Arkansas matched Northern State in aces with three and collected more digs (46 to 43).
• Junior Alli O'Banion led SAU with 10 kills at an attack percentage of .316.
• Seniors Serena LeDuff and Paige Mays each had a game-high 12 digs, while LeDuff added eight kills and the most total attacks (39) in a three-set match for SAU so far this season.
• Freshman Katy Cooper led SAU in assists for the sixth-straight game as she logged 16.

 
FOR THE OPPOSITION
 

• Kellie Schmit led NSU in kills with 10, while four other players recorded at least six kills.
• Ashley Rozell paced the offense with 30 assists.
• Rozell and Jaiden Langlie each recorded a team-high nine digs, while seven other players recorded one or more digs.
