The Southern Arkansas baseball team is on the road this weekend at East Central for their second-to-last regular season series.

The Muleriders will be coming into the series 25-16 overall and 15-12 in GAC play, while the Tigers will enter with a 14-24 overall record and a 13-14 mark in the GAC.

The Muleriders are looking to bounce back from a series sweep at home against Southeastern Oklahoma. In the other dugout, the Tigers are also coming off of being swept
as the Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils took three games from ECU last weekend.

Last year, the Muleriders and Tigers met three times with SAU winning two games to claim the series. Earlier this season, the Muleriders and Tigers played a non-conference
game at the SAU DII Classic at the Ballpark in Grand Prairie. SAU would claim the victory in that meeting, 7-1.

Statistically, the Muleriders rank fifth in the GAC in team batting average (.281) while ranking first in the league in team ERA (3.57). The Tigers will enter play ranked 10th in the GAC in team batting average (.251) and 11th in team ERA (6.47). Defensively, the Muleriders rank ninth in the GAC while the Tigers rank 11th.
