The Southern Arkansas baseball team is back on the road for their second-straight GAC series as they travel to Searcy, Ark. to take on Harding University.

The Muleriders will be coming into the series 20-11 overall and 11-7 in GAC play, while the Bisons will enter with a 13-18 overall record and an 6-12 mark in the GAC.
Both teams are coming off of wins in their last game played as the Muleriders beat NAIA No. 13 LSU-Shreveport 10-9 in a mid-week game this past Tuesday, while the Bisons' last win was in the series finale against East Central.

Last year, the Muleriders and Bisons met five times, playing a three-game GAC series, a mid-week game, and one game in the GAC Tournament. In those five games, SAU would win three with two wins coming in the series and the other in the mid-week affair, while it was the Bisons who got the win in the GAC Tournament.

Statistically, the Muleriders rank sixth in the GAC in team batting average (.282) while ranking first in the league in team ERA (3.54). The Bisons will enter play ranked seventh in the GAC in team batting average (.260) and fifth in team ERA (4.42). Defensively, the Muleriders rank eighth in the GAC while the Bisons rank third.
