The Southern Arkansas softball team is back at home after playing their first true road games of the year last weekend when they went to Southern Nazarene. In that series, the Lady Muleriders suffered their first losses of the season as they split the fourgame series with the Crimson Storm. Prior to that weekend, the Lady Muleriders were 12-0; the best start to a season in program history.

This weekend, the Lady Muleriders will be playing host to Southwestern Oklahoma, who will enter the series on a four-game losing skid after they were swept last weekend on
the road at Southeastern Oklahoma. With that four-game sweep the Bulldogs are 4-14 overall and 2-6 in the GAC.

This will be the 16th meeting all-time between the Lady Muleriders and the Bulldogs with SAU holding a 9-6 advantage in the series that started in earnest back in 2012 when
the GAC was formed. The last 10 meetings have been dominated by the Lady Muleriders as they have won eight of those 10. In games played in Magnolia, SAU is 5-1 all-time.
