The Southern Arkansas baseball team will take a four-game winning streak on the road as they travel to Arkadelphia to take on Henderson State in a three-game Great American Conference series starting on Friday night at 6 p.m.

The Muleriders will be coming into the series 18-9 overall and 10-5 in GAC play, while the Reddies will enter with a 12-16 overall record and an 8-7 mark in the GAC.

Last year, the Muleriders and Reddies were forced to play their conference series at a neutral site in Conway as rain and unplayable field conditions in Magnolia prompted the
move. Henderson State would take the first two games of the series before SAU rallied to claim the final game.

The two teams would go on to play each other three more times last season with the final two games coming in the GAC Tournament. SAU would win each of those games
with the final meeting giving SAU their fourth-consecutive GAC Tournament Championship.

Statistically, the Muleriders rank third in the GAC in team batting average (.287) while also ranking first in the league in team ERA (3.38). The Reddies will enter play ranked 10th in the GAC in team batting average (.246) and fifth in team ERA (4.48).
