The Southern Arkansas baseball team is back at home for their first Great American Conference series of the year at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field as the Muleriders welcome in Southern Nazarene.

Last weekend, both teams opened up GAC play by going 1-2 in their respective series. For Southern Nazarene, they picked up a 5-4 win over Arkansas-Monticello in the opener of the series, while the Muleriders got their win in the series finale as they defeated Oklahoma Baptist on the road 10-5.

Neither team played a mid-week game in advance of the weekend, but the Muleriders were scheduled to play Delta State at home on Tuesday, but rain in the area forced a pair of postponements that ultimately will be made up on March 16 at Delta State.
