MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Volleyball team looks to even their GAC slate tonight on the road in southeast Arkansas, as they matchup with Arkansas-Monticello inside Steelman Field House with first-serve set for 6 p.m. 
The Lady Muleriders (6-7, 1-2 GAC) are coming off a 2-1 week where they fell to Ouachita 3-0 on Tuesday evening inside the W.T. Watson Athletic Center, before picking up their first GAC win of the season in a 3-0 victory over Henderson State on the road. SAU competed in Conway, Arkansas, over the weekend and collected a 3-0 over NAIA-affiliated Central Baptist College. 
Southern Arkansas ranks in the top-three in four major statistical categories in the conference including hitting percentage (2
nd - .204), assists (3
rd – 11.7 per set), kills (3
rd – 12.61 per set), and service aces (1
st – 1.8 per set). 
Junior outside hitter 
Serena LeDuff ranks sixth in the GAC in points scored, averaging 3.94 points per set. LeDuff is seventh in the conference in kills at an average of 3.51 per set and 12
th in services aces with .31 per set. Joining LeDuff in the GAC's top-20 in service aces is junior defensive specialist 
Paige Mays, who is second in the GAC at .50 per set and junior middle hitter 
Gillian Newman (10
th - .32 per set) and senior defensive specialist 
Allie Cecil (19
th - .27 per set). Senior outside hitter 
Shelby Lauterbach is 15
th in the GAC in kills averaging 2.63 per set. 
Senior middle hitter 
Emilie Aase and junior middle hitter 
Kaitlyn Reiner lead the Lady Muleriders in hitting percentage as Aase is seventh in the GAC at a clip of .298, while Reiner ranks 16
th with a mark of .250. 
Senior setter 
Taylor Reaume is just shy of averaging 10+ assists per set as she facilitates a Southern Arkansas offense by averaging 9.89 assists per set; the second-best mark in the GAC. 
Defensively, 
Hannah Rice averages almost five digs per set at an average of 4.96; the sixth-best average in the conference, while Newman and Reiner combined, average almost 1.5 blocks per set. 
For the Blossoms (6-4, 1-2 GAC), they lead the GAC in opponent hitting percentage at a mark of .155 in 33 sets played while boasting the second-most service aces per set in the GAC (1.76) and the third-most digs in the conference at an average of 18.12 per set. 
Junior Carolina Gasparini leads UAM with 3.42 points per set which is the 14
th highest clip in the conference. She is tops in the GAC in service aces per set with .58, has the 12
th best kills per set average of 2.73 and ranks 15
th in digs in the conference with 3.09 per set.   
Sophomore Aubrey Harrison is fifth in the GAC with .42 service aces per set and is second on the team in blocks per set with .64 (14
th/GAC), behind teammate Kya Standford's clip of .72 per set (11
th/GAC). Senior Sydni Schulz has the seventh-highest digs per set mark in the conference at 4.10, while junior Alissya Theis' 6.78 assists per set ranks 10
th in the GAC. 
Tuesday night begins a tough stretch of action for Southern Arkansas as they continue GAC play on Thursday evening inside the W.T. Watson Athletic Center against Harding, before heading to the Missouri S&T Tri-Match in Rolla, Missouri, on Saturday, October 3, for contests against Missouri-St. Louis and Missouri S&T.
