MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Volleyball (4-10 | 0-3 GAC) is set for another Tuesday night in the Great American Conference, as the Blue and Gold will head to Searcy, Arkansas, to take on the Harding Lady Bisons (12-2 | 2-1 GAC).
 
A Glance at Southern Arkansas
The Muleriders continue to seek their first win in the GAC, as they will take on the Lady Bisons on Tuesday at 6:00 PM, before facing the Arkansas-Monticello Cotton Blossoms on Thursday at 6:00 PM inside the W.T. Watson Center.
 
Last week, the Blue and Gold fell to Henderson State and Arkansas Tech, with Southern Arkansas dropping in three sets to the Reddies and falling on the road to Tech by a final of 3-1.
 
Two Muleriders continue to be the lone 100+ kill recorders this season, as Peighton Killeen and Brinklee Dauenhauer both have 130+ kills this season. Killeen, a freshman from Flagstaff, Arizona, leads the team in kills, accounting for 133, while Dauenhauer, a senior from Springtown, Texas, leads the group in total points with 157.5. Brinklee's points come mostly from her 130 kills, but are also assisted by her 24 service aces, which are the second-most in the league (31^st DII).
 
Leading the squad in assists and ranking eighth in the league for assists is senior Hayden Pinard. The native of Roseburg, Oregon, is leading the group with her 345 assists and ranks seventh in the GAC for assists per set with 6.90.
 
SAU is led in digs by Kendall Toliver, with the senior from Wichita Falls, Texas leading the unit with 245 digs and ranking fourth in the conference (16^th DII). She is also third in the GAC for digs per set with an average of 4.90 (34^th DII).

In the last 10 matches for the Lady Bisons, the unit has been nothing short of impressive, with the group having gone 8-2. In that stretch, the group has won 24 sets to just seven sets lost.
 
Harding got off to a hot start in GAC play, with two sweeping victories against Arkansas-Monticello and Ouachita Baptist. The group's hot start got stunted by the red-hot Henderson State Reddies, as HSU defeated the unit in five sets while in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, last Thursday.
 
The squad is currently led in scoring by first-year player Melaina Haines, as the native of Jackson, Missouri has accounted for 136 total kills and 165.5 total points. The Show Me State native may lead the Lady Bisons in scoring, but is by far not the only one on the team capable of scoring efficiently. Harding currently has five individuals who have recorded 100+ points this campaign.
 
Harding's leader for assists is also the conference's leader in assists per set, with Olivia Wiedower ranking third in the GAC for her 503 assists (7^th DII) and first in the league with her 10.48 assists per set (11^th DII).
 
On defense, the Lady Bisons have two players with 30+ blocks this season, as Rauly Eason leads the team with 37.0 total blocks (5 solos | 32 assists) and Philomina Klotz has accounted for 33.0 total blocks (12 solos | 21 assists).
