MAGNOLIA, Ark. ­– With the threat of rain in the Magnolia area over the next few days, the decision has been made to move the three-game series between Southern Arkansas and East Central from Friday-Saturday to now Sunday-Monday.
 
Game times have not changed, however, as the single game will be played on Sunday night at 6 p.m. and the doubleheader will be played on Monday starting at Noon.
 
Unfortunately, due to the schedule change, SAU's annual Military Appreciation Day, as well as the recognition of the 1995 AIC Championship Mulerider Baseball team, has been cancelled with no makeup date this season.
 
Additionally, SAU's scheduled mid-week road game at Harding on Tuesday, April 21 has been moved back a day and will now be played on Wednesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. in Searcy.
 
The following is the amended schedule:
 
Series vs. East Central
Sunday, April 19 | vs. East Central | 6 p.m.
Monday, April 20 | vs. East Central | DH | Noon
 
Mid-Week Game at Harding
Wednesday, April 22 | at Harding | 3 p.m.
