No. 11 Muleriders set to play final home series of the regular season (Game Notes)

The Southern Arkansas baseball team looks to bounce back from a difficult week as they dropped three out of their four games played. The win, however, was an impressive 9-3 victory over No. 6 Delta State in the opener of that series. In that game, the Muleriders would use the long ball to help knock off the Statesmen as they hit four homeruns in the game. Tyler Cameron had the first homerun of the game as he hit a leadoff homerun. The next two bombs would belong to freshman Trevor Rucker as he hit a two-run and a solo shot. The final homer went to William Townsend as he hit his first career homerun.

The Muleriders enter play this weekend with a 30-13 overall record and are 15-9 in the GAC. The Crimson Storm enter play with a 15-27 overall record and a 4-23 mark in the GAC.

Statistically, the Muleriders are hitting .299 as a team and have five starters hitting .300 or better. Jon Phillips currently leads the team in average at .371 (56-for-151). Tyler Cameron and Carver Rademacher lead the team in homeruns with 6. Cameron also leads the team in RBIs with 40 while Rademacher's 17 doubles are tops on the team.
In terms of pitching, SAU has 3.89 team ERA and three of their regular starters have ERAs in the three's. Dylan Lynn leads the staff with eight wins. Janson Carr currently leads the team in ERA with a 1.70 in 10 apperances and six starts. Preston Gray has been the Muleriders' closer and he has nine saves on the year.

For SNU, they hit .279 as a team and have three players over .300. In pitching, SNU has a 5.71 team ERA.
