Leading Off
The Southern Arkansas baseball team enters play this weekend with a 29-11 overall record, but have dropped their last three games. Over the past weekend, the Muleriders enjoyed a 16-1 rout of East Central in the series opener, but then were held to just one run in each of the next two games against the Tigers as they dropped the series 2-games-to-1. In their mid-week action, the Muleriders took on GAC-foe and nationally-ranked No. 9Arkansas Tech. The Muleriders, behind a great starting pitching performance from Yumezo Densaki, took a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the ninth, but the Wonder Boys rallied for a pair of runs to beat SAU 2-1.

The Statesmen enter play with a 26-7 overall record. Since their 13-11 loss to SAU on March 11, the Statesmen are an impresssive 16-1. 

Statistically, the Muleriders are hitting .302 as a team and have five starters hitting .300 or better. Jon Phillips currently leads the eam in average at .379 (55-for-145). Tyler Cameron and Carver
Rademacher lead the team in RBIs with 35. Rademacher also leads the team in homeruns with six and doubles with 15. In terms of pitching, SAU has 3.63 team ERA and three of their
regular starters have ERAs in the three's. Dylan Lynn leads the staff with seven wins. Janson Carr currently leads the team in ERA with a 1.70 in 10 apperances and six starts. Preston Gray has been the Muleriders' closer and he has nine saves on the year.

For DSU, they hit .339 as a team and have 10 players over .300. In pitching, DSU has a 2.26 team ERA. Michael Manley and Jonathan Moody lead the team in wins with six. Four regular starters have ERAs under 2.50 with Drew Milligan leading the way with a 1.12 ERA.
