The No. 4-ranked Southern Arkansas baseball team welcomes in GAC-rivals Ouachita Baptist for a three-game set starting on Friday, February 28 at 6 p.m. at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field. The Muleriders are coming off of a 2-1 GAC series win over Northwestern Oklahoma last weekend while the Tigers are coming off of a three-game GAC sweep to the hands of Southeastern Oklahoma.

The Muleriders also enter play this weekend winners of their last two games as they took a doubleheader from Union University in mid-week action. Both of those wins were shutout wins as the Muleriders won 9-0 and 5-0. The Tigers did not play a mid-week game this week.

Leading the Muleriders in hitting are Jon Phillips and Tyler Cameron. The first and second hitters in the lineup are both over .400 and have combined to drive in 28 runs. Cameron also leads the team in homeruns with three while Carver Rademacher leads the team in RBIs with 17.

In terms of pitching, the Muleriders are front-lined by Dylan Lynn. On the year, Lynn is 2-0 with a 1.98 ERA in 27.1 innings pitched. Timothy Buchanan leads the staff in wins with three.

The Tigers are led in hitting by Landon Moore at .333. Moore also leads the team in RBIs with nine. On the hill, the Tigers are led by ace Davis Ward. This season, Ward is 3-0 with a 2.22 ERA.
