MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas women's basketball team fell in a conference matchup versus Southeastern Oklahoma, 72-48, Saturday afternoon inside W.T. Watson Center.

Rosa Bryant fueled SAU (2-2, 1-1 GAC) in the first half with a team-best 10 points and five rebounds. The Lady Muleriders went on a 5:13 scoring drought in the first half before outscoring SOSU 8-5 in the last 2:29 of the half.
Potter had continued success in the second half from downtown, going 3-for-6 while fellow guard Emily Williams also scored nine second-half points to help the Savage Storm seal the game. Bryant added six points in the second half while freshman
Lauren Lee came off the bench to grab four boards.
Bryant finished with a team-high 16 points while junior
Cemetra Jenkins remained active on the defensive end, recording four steals. SOSU finished 12-of-25 (48 percent) from three-point range for the game.
SAU returns to action Tuesday, traveling to Rogers State (Okla.) with a tip time set for 5 p.m. inside the Claremore Expo.
