Duke Reed is a junior forward from Houston, Texas, and has been a key member of the Mulerider basketball team.
“Duke is first of all a great person,” said Head Coach Andy Sharpe. “He is polite, well mannered, and genuine. He is the type of person SAU needs on this campus.”
Although quiet by nature, Reed leads by example and through his actions, Sharpe noted. “He’s just a great teammate and person. We are fortunate to have him here.”
Sharpe said Reed is not caught up in the traps that trip up a lot of guys. He is goal oriented and has a vision for what his future looks like and then tirelessly works at making his goals his reality.
