Biography
COACH’S COMMENTS: “Cami is an exciting player with great leaping ability who can play both sides of the ball well. She is a well-rounded athlete who provides us with more options than the standard middle hitter by being able to run multiple sets, serve tough, and pass. Her ability to bring energy to the court, a powerful attack, and excellent blocking skills will provide us with a valuable weapon against our opponents.”
COLLEGE: Played one season of volleyball at Glendale Community College…While at GCC, she earned First-Team All-Western State Conference honors, ranked in the top-50 in kills per set (2.63) in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA), and was ranked in the top-25 in blocks per set (1.06) in the CCCAA…Prior to her time at GCC, Martin played at Truman State University (DII) during her freshmen year.
PREP: Prepped at La Canada High School where she played softball and volleyball…In volleyball, she led her team to win the California Southern Section CIF championship…In her time at La Canada HS, Martin was an All-League Honorable Mention as a sophomore, a First-Team All-Rio Hondo League as a junior, and a First-Team All-League and First-Team All-CIF as a senior…In softball, Martin was named the team’s Most Valuable Player.
