Eduardo Couto is the Graduate Assistant for the Men’s and Women’s tennis teams at SAU Muleriders, now in his second year while completing his Master’s in Business Administration. In his first season at SAU, Eduardo helped the women’s team secure the regular season championship and finish as runner-up in the conference tournament. He also assisted the men’s tennis team in becoming regional champions and reaching the NCAA Tournament.
Eduardo Couto began his career at Mesa Community College from 2015 to 2017, where he contributed to the team's back-to-back undefeated seasons in their Conference.
After these two amazing seasons at Mesa Community College, Eduardo transferred to Ottawa University in Arizona (OUAZ) from 2017 to 2019. There, he helped the team reach the finals of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) tournament. Ranked No. 24 in singles in the NAIA rankings, Eduardo played as the number one in both doubles and singles. During the 2019 season, he was nominated for the All American Conference from the Golden State Athletic Conference.
