Matthew is entering his second season with the Muleriders.
 
2024-25 (Junior SAU): Did not play
 
2023-24 (Sophomore Lamar State): Played in 19 games while making six starts…Shot 36.8% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc while also being a 50% free throw shooter…Totaled 26 rebounds and 10 assists.
 
2022-23 (Freshman Victoria College): Played in 23 games making five starts while seeing 327 minutes of action…Shot 46.6% from the field while shooting 40.9% from beyond the arc…Scored 71 points.
 
Personal: Matthew is a native of Austin, Texas and graduated from Glenn High School. He is the son of Michelle and Monte Turner and the brother to Ashley, Ashton, Shiloh, and Patrick. During his time at SAU, Matthew will pursue a degree in Sports Management.
