Biography

Welch is entering his second season with the Muleriders. 

2025 (Junior): Played in 11 games for the Muleriders

2024 (Sophomore East Texas A&M): Played in 12 games for the Lions

2023 (Freshman East Texas A&M): Played in six games for the Lions

Personal: Welch is a native of Lake Worth, Texas and attended Lake Worth High School. Before transferring to SAU, Welch spent two years in Commerce, Texas at East Texas A&M University. He is the son of Sheri and Tracy Welch and the brother to Kaylee and Caleb Welch. During his time at SAU, Welch will pursue a degree in agricultural business.
