Matt Page begins his first season with the Muleriders after being hired on to the staff in 2026.
Before joining the Mulerider staff, Page coached at multiple institutions. Most recently, he served on the coaching staff at Cal State East Bay where he was an assistant coach in charge of hitting and recruiting. He also coached at the University of Antelope Valley, Western Oklahoma State College, West Virginia Wesleyan College and his alma mater, St. Ambrose University.
During his time at Antelope Valley, his team won three conference championships, made two regional appearances and was ranked as high as No. 14. At Western Oklahoma, the team was ranked as high as No. 2 and had a 47-10 record in 2019.
Throughout his coaching career, Page has recruited and coached student-athletes nationally and internationally, with an ability to identify top talent while coaching some of the most explosive offenses. He has been part of multiple conference championship teams and top 25 ranked teams while also helping to develop 35+ professional players including seven players who signed with Major League Baseball organizations. He has also coached multiple All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference selections.
Page's playing career included four seasons at St. Ambrose University and an independent professional baseball career.
Page earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from St. Ambrose then going on to earn a master's degree in Applied Exercise Science from Concordia University - Chicago.
Matt is a Reno, Nevada native and graduated from Galena High School.
