Isaac Carrel enters into his first season as an assistant coach with the Southern Arkansas baseball program.
A native of Sheridan, Wyo., Carrel played his first two collegiate seasons at McCook Community College (McCook, Neb.). A two-time first-team all-state selection in high school, Carrel went on to start over 100 games in two seasons at McCook CC and helped lead the team to a Region 9 postseason berth in 2012.
Following his time at McCook, Carrel continued his college playing career at The University of Tennessee-Martin, serving primarily as a utility player for final two seasons.
In the Spring of 2016, Carrel received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sport Management from UT-Martin. Carrel is currently working towards a master’s degree from Southern Arkansas University in Kinesiology-Coaching.
