Claire is entering her first season with the Muleriders. Before arriving in Magnolia, Claire spent time playing at Otero College.
 
2024 (Sophomore Otero College): Played in 32 matches and 114 sets while averaging 3.42 kills per set…Recorded 1,160 total attacks and 390 total kills… Totaled 241 digs, 16 assists and 443.5 total points.
 
2023 (Freshman Trinidad State College): Played in 36 matches and 126 sets while averaging 2.90 kills per set…Recorded 1,206 total attacks and 366 total kills…Totaled 291 digs, 20 assists, and 409 total points.
 
Personal: Claire is a native of Fowler, Colorado and attended Fowler High School. Claire is the daughter of Jenn and JD Johnson and the sister to Lawren (sister) and Ryan Johnson (brother). During her time in junior college, she was named an All-Region region nine NJCAA women’s volleyball team member along with her team being fourth in the region and the Region nine NJCAA qualifier. During her time in high school, she was a Colorado State Championship winner in 2022 as well as an All-State 1^st team member in 2023. During her time at SAU, Claire will pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
