Biography

COACH’S COMMENTS: “Lauren is a player that offers us so much with her excellent passing and defensive skills and her ability to play multiple positions…She is a confident player, who we see anchoring our back row defense in 2012.”
 
COLLEGE: Played two seasons of volleyball at St. Gregory’s University (NAIA). While at St. Gregory’s Wood totaled 405 kills, 2.34 kills per set, 505 digs, and 2.91 digs per set.
 
PREP: Prepped at Kennedale High School where she played volleyball and soccer…During her high school years, she was awarded newcomer of the year, blocker of the year, and received First-Team All-District honors…In addition to playing for Kennedale High School, Woods played club ball for the distinguished Ace Smack volleyball club in Arlington, Texas.
