MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Athletics Department announced today their department wide GPA for the spring of 2026. The department has set another new record this semester with a cumulative mark of a 3.38 GPA. Up from the previous mark of 3.37 in the fall of 2025. This marks the third consecutive semester that all sports have finished with a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
 
259 student athletes finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 90 athletes finished on the Dean's List for the semester (3.5-3.99) and 85 athletes finished on the President's List (4.0) 79% of student athletes finished the semester with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
