MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Department of Athletics has officially launched 2026-27 Mulerider Club memberships, inviting alumni, fans and supporters to invest in the continued success of more than 450 Mulerider student-athletes while enjoying an enhanced membership experience.
 
The Mulerider Club serves as the fundraising arm of SAU Athletics, providing critical support for the department's 16 NCAA Division II programs. Private support through the Mulerider Club provides the flexibility to meet the greatest needs of Mulerider Athletics throughout the year, helping fund equipment, team travel, facility enhancements and other priorities that directly impact the student-athlete experience both in competition and in the classroom.
 
Memberships begin at just $50 annually, making it easy for every Mulerider fan to become part of the team behind the teams.
 
The 2026-27 Mulerider Club features refreshed membership levels expanded member benefits and new opportunities for supporters to connect with Mulerider Athletics throughout the year. Depending on membership level, benefits include recognition as a Mulerider Club supporter, exclusive Mulerider Club apparel, premier football parking, invitations to meet SAU teams, Coffee with the Athletic Director and coaches, the monthly Mulerider Insider newsletter from Director of Athletics Steve Browning, and additional exclusive experiences throughout the year.
 
"The Mulerider Club is much more than a membership program, it's a community of alumni, fans and supporters who believe in the mission of Mulerider Athletics," Director of Athletics Steve Browning said. "Every membership helps provide opportunities for our student-athletes to excel in competition, in the classroom and in life. Supporters can join the Mulerider Club in the way that best fits their giving preferences, including a one-time contribution, recurring monthly gift or automatic annual renewal. These flexible giving options make it easy for alumni and fans to provide ongoing support for Mulerider Athletics throughout the year while ensuring their membership renews automatically each year.
 
Whether renewing a longtime membership or joining for the first time, supporters are invited to become part of the tradition that has helped generations of Mulerider student-athletes succeed both on the field of play and in the classroom.
