MAGNOLIA, Ark. — Mulerider Women's Tennis finished another day at the office, as the Blue and Gold played the seventh-ranked Mississippi College Choctaws for their final home match of the week. Southern Arkansas dropped the match to MC, with the Choctaws defeating the Muleriders 7-0. 

The Choctaws began doubles play with a 1-0 lead, due to line three being retired for the Muleriders. Only needing one more match win to clinch the doubles point, MC did not stop there, as the group went on to claim both lines one and two with 6-3 and 6-2 wins. 

Now up 2-0 in the overall match, due to six being retired for Southern Arkansas, Mississippi College went on to handle business for the remainder of the individual matches played. MC ended up winning line one (6-1, 7-5), line two (6-4, 6-1), line three (6-1, 6-3), line four (6-7, 7-6, 1-0), and line five (6-0, 6-1).

Southern Arkansas will get back into conference action this weekend, with the Muleriders scheduled to take on Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday (Apr. 18) in Durant, Oklahoma for a 12:00 PM start time.
