FORT SMITH, Ark. — Mulerider Women's Tennis capped off another Sunday outing on the courts, as the Blue and Gold traveled to Fort Smith, Arkansas for a match with regional foe Arkansas-Fort Smith. The Muleriders dominated in the Sunday morning bout, as Southern Arkansas cruised to a 7-0 victory over the Lions.
In doubles play, SAU needed to play just two of the three matches, as doubles pairing Roksana Kokocha/Taylor Conway and Jolina Mass/Emilie Senepart took care of business. At line one for Kokocha/Conway, the two saw resistance by their doubles opponents Arianna De Bernardo and Rayssa Domingues, but prevailed with a 6-3 win. At line two with Mass/Senepart, the duo handled their foes Antonietta Bocache and Gracie Pereff with a 6-1 final to earn the doubles point.
Singles play belonged all to the Blue and Gold as well, as the unit saw Mass (Line 1), Senepart (Line 2) and Conway (Line 4) clinch the match up for the Muleriders. At line one, Mass defeated De Bernardo with a 6-2, 6-0 final. At line two, Senepart took care of Domingues with a final of 6-2, 6-1. To clinch the regional match, Conway secured the clinch with a line four 6-3, 6-1 win against Pereff.
