Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. — Mulerider Women's Tennis wrapped up its fifth-straight home match on Wednesday against the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats at the Live Oak Tennis Courts. The Bearcats ended up coming out on top in the match with a 6-1 final.
Northwest Missouri started its momentum up quickly with winning two of the doubles lines, as the Bearcats won the second and third lines with scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
Only one member of the Blue and Gold was able to win their singles match, which was Jolina Mass at line one. The German freshman earned a gritty first set win over her opponent, Miru Nonaka, with a 7-5 final. Mass ended up going on to winning her second set with ease, as she dominated with a 6-0 win.
The remaining singles for the Muleriders went as such:
• Isabella Lazzerini fell at line two to Majra Djokic 5-7, 2-6.
• Roksana Kokocha fell at line three to Chiharu Ito 5-7, 1-6.
