Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Muleriders Men's Tennis team fell today in their match against the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats by a final of 2-5.
The Muleriders came out strong playing gritty winning the doubles point after
Jonas Sommer and
Uwe Diehl won their match at line one 7-6.
Lucas Nitzschke and
Frode Neumann fell at line two 4-6 but
Balsa Djokovic and
Taiki Minamino won 7-6.
Singles play then started as the Muleriders held an early 1-0 lead. As singles play got underway, the Bearcats caught momentum as
Frode Neumann was the only other point for the Muleriders winning at line two (6-3, 6-3).
Lucas Nitzschke fell at line one (2-6, 6-7),
Balsa Djokovic fell at line three (6-1, 5-6, 3-6),
Jonas Sommer fell at line four (3-6, 3-6),
Uwe Diehl fell at line five (6-7, 4-6) and
Shun Wakino fell at line six (4-6, 1-6).
