MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas is back in action on the courts, as the Mulerider Women's Tennis squad will play at home once more before Spring Break. SAU is set to take on its fifth-straight regional foe, and from the MIAA, with the Muleriders scheduled to face the tenth-ranked Washburn Ichabods.

The Muleriders are set to take on the No. 10 Ichabods at 10:00 AM at the Live Oak Tennis Courts on the beautiful campus of Southern Arkansas University on Friday (Mar. 20). Fans can watch along to all of the action between SAU and WU, as the match will be streamed live on the Southern Arkansas University Hudl Fan Page. SAU Notables
- Southern Arkansas most recently took on the Missouri Western State Griffons, in which the Muleriders fell in a 4-0 final score.
- The Blue and Gold hold a 5-7 overall record and look to grab their third Central Region victory of the season.
- Leading the group in singles action, Taylor Conway has accumulated an 8-4 record, while the top doubles team for SAU has been Jolina Mass and Emilie Senepart, as the two are 7-4 together.
WU Notables
- Most recently, for the tenth-ranked Ichabods, the unit has won its last three outings, which included a win against No. 33 Flagler College (4-1), Southeastern Oklahoma State (5-2), and Harding (5-2).
- Washburn enters the week at 7-2 overall, as the group will first make a stop in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to play the Ouachita Baptist Tigers on Thursday (Mar. 19) and will then face SAU in Magnolia at 10:00 AM on Friday (Mar. 21).
- Jasel Bailey leads the group in singles action, as the sophomore is 7-3 overall. In doubles, the pair leading the Ichabods has been Jasel Bailey and Saajida Razick.
