Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. — The weekend has wrapped up, as Mulerider Women's Tennis took on Delta State for a Sunday morning match at the Live Oak Tennis Courts. Southern Arkansas came up short in the contest, as SAU fell 5-2 against the Lady Statesmen.
DSU took the 1-0 lead early with doubles play, as Delta State went on to win lines two and three, but winning line one was Taylor Conway and Roksana Kokocha with a 6-4 win at the line.
Southern Arkansas managed to account for two singles wins, as Roksana Kokocha secured a line three win over Yasmina Mayer 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. The second Mulerider to win a point for the Blue and Gold was Taylor Conway, as she defeated Lena Kuehn 6-0, 6-2.
The remaining Muleriders' singles matches went as follows:
• Jolina Mass fell at line one singles to Trinity Ly 6-7, 6-2, 1-6
• Isabella Lazzaroni fell at line two singles to Amelia Ciesielczyk 2-6, 4-6
• Emilie Senepart fell at line four singles to Anastasiia Iakovlieva 6-7, 7-5, 3-6
