DALLAS, Texas — Southern Arkansas finished up play in the Lone Star State, as the Muleriders took on the Lone Star Conference's Angelo State Rams for a Sunday match. SAU came up short in the match, as the Rams went on to win the bout 5-2
In doubles play, ASU claimed the point, as SAU pairing's Taylor Conway/Roksana Kokocha and Victoria Perez/Isabella Lazzerini were both defeated out of the three matches. Southern Arkansas' third pairing of Jolina Mass and Emilie Senepart were able to win their outing with a final of 6-4.
Following the doubles action, Southern Arkansas managed to win two of the six singles matches, as the Muleriders saw Taylor Conway win her line with a 7-6, 7-6 final, as well as Emilie Senepart's line seeing a 6-2, 6-4 decision in favor of the Mulerider.
The remaining lines decisions are listed as such:
No. 1 singles: Jolina Mass finished with a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 decision.
No. 2 singles: Roksana Kokocha competed in a three-set match that ended 3-6, 1-6.
No. 3 singles: Isabella Lazzerini recorded a 2–6, 2–6 result.
No. 6 singles: Victoria Perez concluded singles play with a 0–6, 2–6 score.
