DALLAS, Texas – The Southern Arkansas University Men's Tennis team fell today to Cameron University in their final match of their road trip to Dallas, Texas this weekend by a final score of 5-2.
Cameron began the day winning the doubles points after
Uwe Diehl and
Jonas Sommer fell at line one 6-7 followed by
Frode Neumann and
Lucas Nitzschke falling at line two 3-6.
Balsa Djokovic and
Taiki Minamino won at line three 6-3 but the other two victories for the Aggies secured the early doubles point for the Aggies.
Lucas Nitzschke fell at line one for the Muleriders in straight sets (1-6, 3-6).
Frode Neumann won at line two in straight sets (7-6, 6-2) as
Balsa Djokovic won the last two matches of his game after dropping the first (1-6, 6-3, 6-4).
Jonas Sommer fell at line four (4-6, 4-6),
Uwe Diehl fell at line five (6-7, 6-1, 6-7) and
Shun Wakino fell at line six (4-6, 4-6).

The Muleriders will return to action next weekend as they take a trip to Tyler, Texas for three matches in three days. The first match of the weekend is against UT-Tyler on Friday, February 20th at 1:00 p.m.
