TYLER, Texas — Mulerider Women's Tennis (1-3) got back into action this weekend in East Texas, as Southern Arkansas took on Lubbock Christian to start the unit's weekend. The Muleriders ended up falling to the Lady Chaps 5-2, as SAU now shifts its focus to tomorrow. 

LCU began its path to victory for the day after the Lady Chaps won the doubles point in sweeping fashion, winning all three matches 5-3, 6-2, and 6-1. 

Isabella Lazzerinni and Emilie Senepart earned the Blue and Gold's two points, with Lazzerini winning her line three singles match 4-6, 7-5, 1(10)-0(7). Senepart went on to win her line five singles match with a tie-breaker in the first set (7-6) before her opponent defaulted. 

• Jolina Mass fell in the line one singles 3-6, 3-6
• Roksana Kokocha fell in line two singles 4-6, 3-6
• Taylor Conway fell in line four singles 2-6, 2-6
• Victoria Perez fell in line six singles 0-6, 3-6
