SAU Notables
>>> The Muleriders come off a week in which the group went 1-2, with a win against Arkansas-Monticello (56-48), and losses to Henderson State (66-64) and #11 Harding (63-57). Southern Arkansas broke its five-game losing streak with the win against the UAM Cotton Blossoms, as SAU recorded its first win since beating the Blossoms five games prior. Before that, the Muleriders began a two-game winning streak after beating then 19th-ranked NWOSU 58-51.

>>> Blythe Crawley continues to lead the Muleriders in scoring with her 291 points and 12.1 average, but over the last few weeks, Kennedy Moss has come onto the scene as one of the Blue and Gold's top scorers. Moss, a freshman from Trophy Club, Texas, is now the third player for SAU to crack into the 200+ point range this season, at 203. Over the last ten games, Moss leads the Muleriders in scoring with 107 points and a 10.7 ppg average. She is also the unit's leader in field goal percentage (46% | 50 attempts min.), free throws made (22), and free throw percentage (84.6%).

>>> Off the boards, the Muleriders are led in rebounding by Elena Lijo-Rodriguez for the season with 154 rebounds and an average of 6.4 per game. In the last ten games, Southern Arkansas has been led in boards by senior Marlee Bright. The local of Glenwood, Arkansas, is the team's top rebounder since the middle of January, as Bright has recorded 65 rebounds and averages 6.5 per game.

>>> Bright has not only become the Muleriders' top rebounder in the last ten games, but Bright is also approaching a pair of career records at Southern Arkansas University, as the senior is 18 assists away from tying the career assists record (378 | Carolyn Mack | 1988-92) and 11 steals away from the career steals record (263 | Gail Sanders | 1984-88).

NWOSU Notables

Since dropping the road match to Southern Arkansas, Northwestern Oklahoma State has gone 3-5 and now sits at 11-7 in the GAC.

Since then, the Bulldogs have gone 4-5, but have been winners in three of their last four games and sit at 8-10 in league play.
