Muleriders Set for Last Oklahoma Trip of Season

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Muleriders (10-14, 7-11 GAC) are set for their final road trip to Oklahoma of the season as they prepare for games against Northwestern Oklahoma State (9-15, 6-12 GAC) and Southwestern Oklahoma State University (10-14, 7-11 GAC).
 
Broadcast Information
Thursday's game will be broadcast on the Northwestern Oklahoma State Hudl Fan page. Saturday's game against Southwestern Oklahoma State will be broadcast at Wright Media.

>>> The Muleriders were riding a three-game winning streak before falling to the Harding Bisons on Saturday in Magnolia. The win streak included wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State in overtime, a dominant win over Henderson State 83-73 and another big win over UAM by a final of 80-65.
 
>>> Jair Horton had a great three game stretch from Monday to Saturday going 19-29 from the field (65%), 8-12 (66%) from beyond the arc, and 8-9 (88%) from the free throw line. His stat line included 15 rebounds and four assists.
 
>>> Jair Horton still ranks first in the league in free throw percentage with a mark of 45.3%. His mark would also tie him for 7th in the nation, but he falls below the qualifying mark of 2.5 made per game. Horton also ranks eighth in the league in rebounding with 5.8 per game.

>>> The Rangers are currently on a five-game losing skid that was started with a 66-75 loss to Henderson State before falling to Ouachita Baptist (73-81), SWOSU (64-94), East Central (75-103), and Southeastern Oklahoma State (65-71). Their last win came on January 31st in a 76-63 win over Arkansas Tech. NWOSU has not won in the month of February.

>>> Ty Frierson leads the team in scoring with 320 total points averaging 13.3 points per game. Kayden Carter follows closely behind with 265 total points and averages 11 points per game.
 
>>> Kray Rogers leads the team in rebounding with 130 total and averages 5.4 rebounds per game. He is trailed closely behind by Kayden Carter with 110 total rebounds and averages 4.6 rebounds per game. Frierson also leads the team in assists with 71.
